This is placeholder wording, not final legal copy. It will be replaced with a lawyer-reviewed version before real launch.
bink is a booking, deposit, and consent tool for tattoo artists. An artist shares a booking link with a client; the client pays a deposit, signs a consent form, and uploads reference images, all in one flow. bink is not a payment processor itself — deposits are processed by Stripe, and bink never holds client funds directly.
bink is free for artists. Clients pay a small booking fee on top of the deposit amount, shown clearly before payment. Artists keep the full deposit amount; bink's fee is the booking fee only.
Consent form wording is authored by each artist. bink does not draft, review, or guarantee the legal sufficiency of any artist's consent form. Each signed consent is stored exactly as presented at the time of signing, and is not altered by later edits to the artist's form.
bink is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, bink is not liable for disputes between artists and clients, the outcome of any tattoo procedure, or losses arising from inaccurate information provided by either party. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of bink after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
